10,000 Stars

One of my fascinations with outdoor photography is shooting the night sky. A lot of effort, planning and luck goes into each one of these shots. The reward is not only a shot that captures a unique perspective and event that few people get to see, but also spending time under the stars in the quiet of the night. Here is a shot of the milky way galaxy seen above the Wenatchee Forest in Washington.
